Whether you’re watching your favourite team, attending a concert starring the hottest band on the radio or taking in some big ticket entertainment, you will work up an appetite when you’re downtown at the Air Canada Centre. There are lots of options nearby from fine dining to sports bars, and we've managed to get the list down to 10 spots. Here are your best bets for dining near the ACC.
Located right beside Maple Leaf Square the screens at Real Sports are so big, you’ll feel like you’re at the game while you eat its famous pub fare! Wings, chicken fingers, burgers and more are all on the Real Sports menu. Also, the craft beer options are something to be admired.
Just a block away from the ACC, Miku is a great spot for sushi lovers. Using the famous aburi method, where the topside of the sushi is grilled, the restaurant has become a popular spot in Toronto. There is a full dinner menu, as well as a Bar Bites menu.
Located behind the ACC, Harbour Sixty Steakhouse is probably a place you’ll want to eat at after spending a night cheering on your team, or dancing up a storm at a concert. The steaks are some of the best in the city, plus it’s open late! Harbour Sixty also offers prix-fixe menus and a killer cocktail menu.
Right on Bay Street, The Miller Tavern serves elevated pub food. For instance, the quesadillas are filled with lobster, Boursin and Monterey Jack cheese. There is also a decent cocktail menu, that includes a slushie machine! Please note that Miller Tavern are closed on Sundays.
Get a little taste of Italy in Toronto at Taverna Mercatto, serving up all the Italian classics on Bremner Blvd. From pizza to pasta, all the favourites are there. It is a great alternative to the pubs in the area, and it’s family-friendly!
For some fine dining, you can check out Bymark. Celebrity chef Mark McEwan’s second endeavour puts a spin on classic French dishes. Always delicious and refined, Bymark is a great addition to a night on the town.
Open late, Fran’s is the epitome of diner food in Toronto! Compared to the prices at the ACC, you’ll be relieved when you the get your bill at the end of your meal, the menu is full of cheap eats options. The iconic diner is just steps away from the ACC, and serves up some of the best all-day-breakfasts in the city.
A quick stop at O&B before heading to the ACC is a must. One of the many Oliver and Bonacini restaurants in the Financial District, this Front and Bay location is spacious and has one the best patios in the city!
Cactus Club is the spot dinner before the short walk to the ACC. Rob Feenie’s farm-to- table menu is iconic and Cactus Club has a stellar happy hour menu.
