Come taste an appetizing dish at Monsieur. They happily provide private rooms, reservations and catering services and are open after-hours from Tuesday to Saturday. You can get there by public transit and bicycle. The surrounding area is notable for its stores and parks.
The food is amazing. Portions are considered large comparing to the average Montreal French bistro. Good place for a date. Also good atmosphere for a small 5a7 (there is a large long table for 10-12pp at the back near the bar).
The only negative is that the service is average. The waitress is not that attentive or customer-centric. For example, she would list the daily special without mentioning the prices, unless prompted. Such customer service basic is lacking with the wait staff.
HABIBI – Moroccan spiced beef patty laced with lamb merguez & haloumi cheese, grilled eggplant and zucchini, hummus, (pickle, lettuce, tomato) harissa Mayo and fries in the burger, served with green salad and fries. $22.50
A little poutine tagine, anyone? Here, the classic poutine is reworked and updated with braised and shredded Quebec chicken, lemon confit and green olive sauce, cheese curds, coriander and fried shallots.
