“I’ve been working in Web development since before I even graduated elementary school; I received my first income from the Web when I was just 10 years old,” proclaims Marc Adam, who co-owns the Nixa Web development studio, along with William Marchand.
So while the other kids were out playing, Marc was busy creating his first Web site, an index of webcams running all over the Internet, as a means of sharing different views of the world to fellow office-chair travellers. “I made some money selling ads," he recalls. "Not a lot, but for a kid, that was an achievement!”
“William and I want our clients to profit from our expertise,” he explains. The duo met while they were in university, and started Nixa as they were finishing their degrees in 2013. “Our partnership came naturally, after we saw the kinds of amazing platforms and sites we could develop if we combined our skills – and there’s lots of work on offer.” Since its inception, the firm has grown exponentially; starting from the original team of two, the staff now comprises 12 employees.
