Per Bacco Ristorante invites you to their dining room. Their bar is the ideal spot for after dinner drinks. They are open after-hours from Monday to Saturday. You can get there by car. They are found in a location packed with parks.
This restaurant has now been taken over by a new owner and the dining experience is amazing! You must give this restaurant a try! The food is delicious, presentation is beautiful, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is very romantic.
The owner came by our table to check on us and recommended we try Tuna Tar Tar. It was AMAZING! We don't have any other restaurants here in Windsor with this ambiance and dining experience!
Well this was our first time there without reservations on a Saturday night. We managed to get a table right away and were seated quickly. We ordered the salmon. The salmon was excellent however the vegetable was not what we expected and thought for the price would have had a better choice. The mashed potatoes were ok but nothing special.

We went to Per Bacco for a lovely dinner, and were extremely disappointed with the food, service, and price. When we first arrived we were excited, the atmosphere was nice with a beautiful view of the sunset over a park, though the lights in the restaurant were too dim for comfort. Our waiter was rude and snooty, uninterested in conversation or details about dishes on/off the menu. After we placed our orders, he asked us if we wanted "a soup or salad" without informing us that it was not included with our entree, or informing us what the salad contained. My fiancee cannot stomach balsamic vinagrette, so he was extremely disappointed. The salad also only contained lettuce, no vegetables at all, for $6.25, each.
I had the chicken stuffed with prociutto and cheese, it was tasty and I enjoyed it. However, the beans that came with the meal were uncooked and hard, and they were accompanied with 2 baby potatoes cut in half and seasoned. Barely any food for the $24 I paid.
My fiancee orded the top sirloin with bell pepper coulee which he could barely stomach. They never asked how he wanted the sirloin cooked, it was charred on the outside and raw, soft and slimy on the inside. He could taste nothing but chewy blood, and could not bear to finish it. His dish was $32.
This was followed by another disappointment, the bill which came to a whopping $80 for below average food and terrible service. I would never return.
If you are looking for a good meal and a nice place to sit down and soak up some of Windsor's best Dinning then you have found your place. Food is excellent good Proportions and service is great.
I have eaten here over ten times and not yet have had a bad meal, nothing but good times and good people.

We visited for the first time on Valentine's Day this past weekend. The decor is very impressive and unique. The hosts and servers are very friendly and helpful.
The calamari was amazing; the best we ever had. The eggplant was good, but couldn't compare to the calamari. The salmon was well cooked and flavourful, but I could not taste, nor see the crabmeat and shrimp that it was supposed to be stuffed with. Also, it did not have any white wine sauce on it as described on the menu. My boyfriend ordered the veal chop and liked it, but thought it would have been nice with a sauce or more flavour added. We both enjoyed the potato dishes that came with the entrees. Both the cheesecake and tiramisu were delicious, especially the tiramisu.
Overall, the food was well prepared and we would go back again. However, we might try some pasta dishes the next time.
We visited Per Baco for our sons 19th Birthday and for a family who dines out often this was an excellent dinner. Everything from the service to the presentation and the food were perfect. I would recommend this restaurant to friends and family anytime
I have eaten at Per Bacco many times and every time I am pleasantly surprised!Service is always great and the chef if very versatile!It may not be on the menu but the chefs will always do there best to please everyone ! there ''involtini pollo bacco " is amazing !i recommend every seafood lover try's this dish !Pricing is well below average for this class of dinning !
We often visit this restaurant with friends. Great atmosphere and service. The food cooked to perfection every time. Portions are appropriate and wine selection wonderful. One of my favorite restaurants in the city.

Service was impeccable. "Jeff" our server, was very knowledgeable, recommended an excellent wine and allowed just the right amount of time between courses to fully enjoy the evening.
The server and host were exceptionally personable, but our waiter did not write down our order, and made mistakes with one diner's appetizer and main choice. The food would have been fantastic had the chef been a little less liberal with the salt (n.b. I have no aversion to salt!). The food and wine were otherwise excellent. I would definitely return, but would ask that they go a little bit lighter on the salt in ALL savoury dishes.
