Have been to this place a number of times and every time it seems like there is something that just rubs me the wrong way. Two weeks ago I went for 2-4-1 wings night, and ended up sitting at the table for 45 minutes before the waitress said that she wasn't sure what was taking so long. 15 minutes we got our food. Meanwhile, the table next to us got their food, ate, left, then the table was reseated and they got their food before we did.
This week we attempted to order 2-4-1 wings, and they had run out of wings at 10:30PM. Kind of ridiculous if you ask me.
The food is otherwise pretty good.
We went here for 2 for 1 wings. Ordered all the different flavours they had, and they were ALL very good. It was busy and loud, servers were awesome and wait time wasn't too bad. We'll be going back to try some other items on the menu for sure.
On a side note, while we were waiting outside a car came by and threw a couple of eggs at us. Nothing to do with Rock Bottom, but it was funny. They missed of course :P
Rock Bottom is the place to go when your looking for the perfect combination of mouth watering food and a great time! Being a senior University students my friends and I wanted to find a place where we felt welcome, had a great time and could mingle with people of all ages and we found that at Rock Bottom. The assortment of live music and wide variety of beer on tap and in bottle widened my horizons and made every night new and interesting. After conversations with staff ( who are very friendly and added to the all around great time) it was great to find out how hands on the owners were with the bar. The icing on the cake is definitely the all day breakfast offered Saturday and Sunday's. We leave at 3am and come back at 11 am for breakfast, whole wheat banana nut pancakes and the big breakfast ( which gives me a little bit of everything) reminds me of the home made breakfast that all University students miss so very much from home. I recommend everyone to not miss out of this gem.
We found this gem while attending a family friends party in the upstairs, and we absolutely fell in love with the atmosphere and friendly service. The food was incredible....fresh and perfectly cooked, and we're told they do not freeze anything like most pubs but cook everything to the costumers order, it's no wonder it tastes GREAT!!! There is no doubt in my mind that this is one of the best restaurant/pubs in the city!!! We have been back at least 1-2 times a week since! And the live music and peanuts are fantastic!!
