I enjoyed the fact that I could book my appt online. I got to choose the stylist and the service that I wanted, as well as the date and time. The salon is very clean and organized. Jackie was kind and attentive. It was clear that she is talented and experienced in what she does. She listened to exactly what I wanted and did not go off course as other hairdressers have in my past. The prices are very fair. Definitely a positive experience and I will be returning!
I bought a Groupon in October for partial highlights. They did an excellent job, although I told them what colour formula to mix so I can't speak to their knowledge of choosing colours themselves. I used to be a hairdresser, so I just told them what I wanted and they did exactly that, which is more than many salons will actually do.
I got a full head of highlight coupon from Groupon but I just got 15 foils !.. The outcome was also yellow not the ash color that I asked for... It was totally a deal for them not me !!! Waste of money and time for me... I don't recommend it at all...
All I can say is WOW! I just got back from the most painful experience of my life. I ordered a wag jag deal for a brazalian and full leg wax. I have done brazalians many times over the last 4 years, but I have never experienced anything like this. I actually had to tell her to stop between sobs. I was in tears! The worst part is, I still have random hairs all over my legs and public area. I would rather pull every hair out with tweezers than go back there.
I’m really disappointed. I wanted to “treat” myself to a pedicure, and so I went to this salon today – I had an appointment at 3pm. I was left to sit and wait for about 30 minutes (while some female staffer talked about how she thought she was pregnant this month – I feel that it’s unprofessional to discuss your menstrual cycle loud enough that customers can clearly hear you is 3 feet away). So, my appointment started 30 minutes late. It was kind of a grotty place, and the stool where I had to rest my leg meant that I had to shimmy down in the chair, slouching for ages, so the staffer could work on my feet. I chose my nail polish, and things went along more or less fine. I was not impressed when the young woman – after she was finished, and my nails were dry, she gouged a chunk of the polish off one of my toes. I got the impression that she was not that experienced. She tried to patch it up, and I asked her if the polish on that toe would be likely to chip off, and she reassured me that it would be perfectly fine, and the nail polish would be as good as new. Well, I’m not happy. I was late to pick up my children (because she started 30 minutes late) across town, and sure enough, the same toe nail polish that the lady gouged, it’s now chipped. Plus, you can still see some of the colour of the old nail polish on my big toe (on the other foot - not on the photo I've attached). I’m NOT a happy customer. Save your $40, you'd do better (and save LOADS of time) at home!
