Standard pub fare. A setting for the locals and their visitor friends. Wings here are very tasty. They come in different seasonings and flavours. Honey garlic seems to be a very popular choice. Buffalo wings are not too bad either. You can tell its pre-packaged wings but meh, they are not too bad on the occasion. Burgers, pasta dishes, chicken strips, sandwiches, are the other main staples here. Most of the time they do it just right. Not something to scream about, not something to complain about. TKO is one of those mom & pop pubs... where you meet up with your buddies with a pint, watch the game and just socialize. Not too rowdy atmosphere for the most part (except the occasional semi-drunk) Bottom line is, if you are desiring for some tasty but greasy pub fare + good company... this place is a good option.
Agree with all the praises mentioned before: excellent food, great atmosphere, friendly service, tons of TVs (you can watch 3 games at the same time if you want :) ), and you can't beat the 1/2 price burgers on Saturdays! (by the way, they're yummy all-meat burgers, made fresh!)
I've been in Toronto 12 years and have eaten at many pubs and sports bars, and I have yet to find a place that has as consistently excellent a menu as TKO's. There isn't a bad thing on the menu, and the food varies from very good (nachos) to GREAT! (Chicken Greek Salad, Chicken Parm...just amazing...). Service is cordial and efficient, atmosphere is casual and dated...a great place to hang out, but most importantly, a GREAT place to eat. I have introduced 10 people to the place and it's become their "regular" as a result. Worth a visit. Wings are quite good, sandwiches are AWESOME, burgers are among the best in Toronto, portions are staggering, veggies are fresh. Great value for the money.
We come often to this pub after our hockey games. The staff is always welcoming, even if we usually haul several large hockey bags and sticks (some other pubs that claim to be sport bars of hockey pubs often frown when we ask to come in with our bags). On top of this, the food is very good and has a home-made feel -- probably some of the best burgers in T.O.
This place has great wings, NOTHING MORE!!! The service, attitude of waitresses, the bathrooms, and the diet coke that tastes and smells like chlorine is just disgusting, terrible and unpleasant!!! I would not recommend this place to anyone!I believe that chicken wings can be found at many places with great service! NOT children/family friendly either! Very very bad experience!!! And it wasn't the only time we went there and it wasn't the first one either.

At the eastern edge of the Greek part of the Danforth strip is this sports bar, complete with TVs, an ample beer selection, friendly patrons and a good offering on the menu. No matter who the Leafs are playing, the game will be all the sweeter if you pair it with a plate of wings, which is this sports bar’s calling card. It’s also located steps away from the subway station for easy access.
