Actually, our customers gave us the '7Numbers' name. Our restaurants are numbered Ontario corporations: 2047409 Ontario Inc. on Danforth Avenue, and 2113407 on Eglinton Avenue West. Shows how smart our customers are. (Us, for naming our restaurants with just numbers? Not so much...)
I went with a few friends last weekend and the atmosphere was very romantic and welcoming. The service was also very good. I must say though I was disappointed with the food. We had a variety of antipasti which was 'ok' the one that stood out was the deep fried calamari which was excellent and of course the deep fried dough with peppers and tomatoe sauce. The pastas we had were terrible. The 'lasagna' has a very strong smoke flavour to it (weird)and all the sauces used in the pastas were very acidic. The secondo's (egg plant, rabbit and rottoli) we had were edible but again just ok. Its to bad because the atmosphere was wonderful. I would not go back to this place because for me its mostly about the food.
Family owned and run, it’s only fitting that Seven Numbers offers a family-style menu. Good for groups of two to 100, the menu starts with the antipasti, like calamari, caprese and arugula, and then continues with platters of classic Italian eats, like linguine, lasagna and more. The combination of home-style meals and inviting atmosphere is what keeps people coming back for more.
Sharing is always on the menu at this family-owned eatery with locations on the Danforth and Eglinton West. The ever-changing menu is published daily online at 5pm and is always available to enjoy family style. Choose your main and let the kitchen prepare you a sampling of antipasti, pasta and salads served to the table on platters. Affordable home-style Italian cooking at its best.
