You’ll have to hike a little southeast of Yonge and Eglinton and turn onto the quiet Merton Street, but the trip is so worth it. The storefront is pretty barebones and easy to miss, so keep a sharp eye out to get some rich and full-flavoured brew. Once you visit a couple of times, the owner (Ben) will start to greet you by name like a friend. You can’t go wrong with any of the food, especially the curried chicken.
