This is the greatest Fish & Chips I have ever had. I lived in Shelburne and would go down to Orangeville just to eat here. I am actually going to stop in tonight an eat there. Everything I have tried here is so good, I think its because of how often they change the oil and quality of food <3 LOVE IT :)
Went in there with my husband, we had been out running around and he was hungry for fish and chips east coast was on the way so we stopped in. I was not all that hungry but said I would go with him. He had asked for an extra plate so I could have a few of his fries and so I wasnt reaching over the table , the waitress went up to the cook/owner asked and came back with a no sorry I am not aloud to give you an extra plate my boss will not allow it. My husband was shocked considering it was his food that he was paying for he should be able to share his fries . He then had to ask the 2 ladies beside us to use there plate they had for tea. Everyone in the restaurant had seen what had happend and made comments about how ridiculous this was. We will not be going back there.

I have eaten here before, maybe 3 times. All was well. Just as one would expect from a typical chippy.
Last time we went here, was take away. The fish piece was really small! It was Halibut and chips, the fish piece was so oil soaked, like a sponge. You could wring it out and get a cup of oil. And soggy, too. I like crispy, tasty battered fish, I am not afraid of greasy foods or fried foods, but this time was ridiculous. Just soaked. Way too small!! It wasn't like that before. Maybe just a bad day?
Fries were OK, maybe on the boring side. Gravy out of a packet and boring.
Although I like the people there, and the cleanliness is good, that one soggy, oil soaked bar of soap sized fish made up my mind not to go back.
