My wife and I went there for our 25th Anniversary (part of hotel package). Worst meal ever.
My wife ordered the Steak (and added lobster for extra charge). I ordered the Prime Rib.
Her lobster was ok (can't really mess that up). But, her steak was bland and a bit tough.
Typically, prime rib is suppose to melt in your mouth. Oh my gosh, my piece must have come from rump of an old ox. It was SO tough, it took a LOT of strokes with my steak knife to get through.
Yes. It is our fault for not sending it back. But, after all the hype, I figured we shouldn't be wrong.
Other than the friendly waitress, there is NOTHING we'd go back for. Never returning.
I ate there for my birthday just this past week. And I was alittle iffy because of the location of the restaurant being in a tourist area. Which usually for a locale means, high prices low quality and service. But I was very surprised when our server was so attentive, informative and funny! The restaurant itself was very classy and with great decor. I had won this meal in a package at a Stag'n'Doe. It included a night at a hotel and dinner for 2 at Remingtons. So although I didnt pay anything. The bill would have come out at $62 for 2 people. Which included 2 appetizers, 2 large meals ( new york strip, and prime rib) and dessert. All of which were amazing! The service was fast even though they were somewhat busy.
But the most important part, obviously is the food. I had the prime rib while my boyfriend had the new york strip. And i have to say, i would die for another plate of that prime rib right now. It was amazing. My boyfriend enjoyed his steak just as much and we were both very satisfied overall.
I say its a must try for a good classy steak house.
