    I was pleased with the salesman in the Newmarket store. The bed was delivered in a timely manner and the young delivery men Ryan & John were great. They were polite, helpful, quick and efficient. I would definitely check JR’s first for any future furniture purchases.

    There is little space to write the full experience. Summary: • November 12, 2018 we ordered a sofa and custom toss cushions. Paid 50% of the total price as deposit. • At the point of sale we were told potentially we could get delivery before Christmas, but end of January at latest. • Countless emails and phone calls in-between late January and end of February with assurances it will be “next week”. • February 28, 2019 at 4:19 p.m. received a call advising our delivery time will be between 9

    Wow! Beautiful Canadian made furniture!! Great selection and not just bedroom furniture. Greeted with a smile from the sales staff, went to the warehouse to pick up my custom sofa set and they have a large clearance Center there too! Will he back soon!!!!!

    We bought a bed and mattress from The Bedroom Shop 9 months ago. Because we bought our bed from them they gave a discount on the mattress. Installers were great and professional. After 3 months we were both waking up with aches and pains and could not sleep. When we asked to return the bed they allowed us to do so but said we would have to pay full price to purchase the new bed and charged to return the 1st bed. Still waking up with aches and pains. Made a mistake buying mattress here.

    Don't ever go here

    Worst service. Period. Don't deliver what you ask for and refuse to deliver what you ordered. Stay away. Lazy sales staff with attitude. Never seen anything like this before. They should be put out of business.

    I went to the bedroom shop with my sister and toddler nieces and nephew. Peter was great had patience, explained everything. Kathleen in customer service organized my delivery, answered emails promptly. Even the delivery people were right on time, polite and professional. Great experience overall. Will definitely shop here again.

    0 stars is too many. I wish I had read these reviews before buying a kingsdown mattress recently. It is giving off a funky, chemical smell. I went into the store to talk to them about it and of course they brushed off my concerns and told me to call the warehouse. Never experienced this with other mattresses we've bought elsewhere. What kind of customer service is that? You would think they would try to help you instead of making you do the calling. Will never go back there again.

    I was worried about shopping at this store because of the bad reviews but was amazingly surprised by their service. The saleswomen was amazing and they delivered exactly what and when they promised. I would definitely recommend them.

    Stay away from this place

    This is the worst furniture retailer I've ever dealt with. Not only is the store manager rude (and completely checked out) but the sales staff really don't care whether you spend your money here. The indifference is staggering. I received a couch I didn't order and now am battling with head office. My in laws placed an order 8 months ago and received the wrong delivery. The second delivery they received is defective - months later. It's just insane. Every negative comment on here is true.

    If I could give it 0 stars I would. Horrible customer service. Bought a mattress from them. According to their website you can get a full refund on anything within 24 hours. I went into the store to request a refund since we hadn't taken possession of the mattress and I was refused a refund, thrown out of the store and threatened with a call to the police. The day after I went in they changed the wording on the website. Thank goodness for screenshots and Visa refunding our money. Beware!!

    Have had the displeasure of entering these premises on three occasions. All three times I was met with indifference from the sales staff and arrogance and rudeness from the Store Manager. Save yourself the time, energy and frustration - go order your dream bedroom furniture from any other retailer in the area! The other negative comments are true and I wish I had read them BEFORE entering the store - you have been warned.

    don't recommend this store under any circumstances.Terrible service . I spent a month waiting for a bedroom set when the salesman assured me it wouldn't take more than 3 weeks...after many calls We got the product finding out we missed a box spring or slats that they never mentioned the bed does not come with it and we should paid for it. We ended up calling and going back to the store with no luck or apology. If we wanted the box spring we should paid  for it.
