I walked in on Sunday, June 24th around noon to pick up some flowers for a brunch I was attending. I got into the store, and nobody was around. Then I hear a woman's voice in the back saying something along the lines of "gosh, we should have put our summer hours up." So I just politely said, "Oh sorry, are you open?" And suddenly I'm being spoken to as if I'm the biggest inconvenience in the world. "YUP!" she yells. "Just on the PHONE!" I said wow, and walked out of there. I'm in custoemr service too, and I would never be so rude as to speak to a potential customer in that manner, much less a complete stranger. I'll choose another flower shop in the future, and will suggest my friends do the same.
Gammage is located in a beautiful century old home with ample parking and is centrally located in London. I have used them on a number of occasions and have always heard from the people receiving the flowers that they were unique and exotic. I recently ordered flowers for a funeral, specifically asking for a "non funeral" type of arrangement. At the funeral I was able to view what had been created - the arrangement stood out from all the other arrangements. It was a gift to the family something they could take back and enjoy further in their homes. If you are looking for something out of the ordinary I would highly recommend Gammage for any occasion.
