the best homemade meals in town. great portions also. wraps are good and nice variety of burgers. try the green apple draught though. keeps me comin back . Bob and his wife know how to serve great food. :) fries are done to perfection. salads are good also. too bad hours arent longer
Our Downtown Favourite. Warmington's is in our regular rotation and it never disappoints. The menu always seems to have something different to try, the atmosphere is quaint and relaxing and "Bob the waitress" is so casual and nice it makes for a great experience. If we could somehow clone the owners so that they'd be open more often, this place would be perfect.
What a cool place! It reeks of ambiance which is what Brantford has needed. The food was excellent with good size portions. They were turning people away because they were so busy so make a reservation!
I reviewed this place a couple of years ago with a true and legitimate complaint, but for some reason it is gone. We were served the worst, most overcooked chicken sandwich I have ever eaten. I am not exaggerating here. It was terrible. The sweet potato fries were soggy and cold. Everything that we had was terrible and it was served to us by a man in an undershirt. Again I am totally serious. He had an undershirt on and wasn''t the least bit interested in serving us. It was like he wished we were not there. I noticed that someone replied to the review with shock and that review is still there. I would never try to bash someones business unless they deserved it. This lunch was one of the absolute worst I have ever eaten. Maybe they have gotten better since there are so many favourable reviews, but I can''t help but notice that Bob Smith seems a little too knowledgeable about their menu, and his name seems a little generic. Editor''s Note: the earlier review was removed because it did not meet our Terms of Use.
The best wrap I have ever had, great atmosphere, I would recommend this place to everyone!
The best ice cream I have ever eaten, no contest. The server and bartender (whom I understand are also the owners) were extremely nice. Service was prompt, tea was hot, ice cream was cold. The atmosphere of this restaurant is so cozy and stylish, it really makes you feel like you're dining at a favourite aunt's house.
I`ve been all over the world and to this day I have never tasted a fresher wing. The coconut shrimp was as good as I`ve had closer to the sea. The staff were well mannered, well dressed and fast. I`m glad that Brantford has got a place to dine of this quality and high standards. I will be returning.
I was shocked to read the previous review, as we attended this little gem on the recommendation of some friends who have dined there on a number of occasions and wished we had found it sooner. The owners are a man and wife who are refreshingly casual. She is the chef and as she explained " He is your waitress ". It is a tiny place with only a few tables, and a decor that is filled with art done by local artists. We were met by the wife at first who we found out is also the chef and she recommended what we ordered. The menu is so refreshingly different than what you normally find in bistro's and the quality was exceptional. The black angus burger was thick and juicy, in fact my wife and I shared it. It was accompanied by the best tasting sweet potato fries I have ever had. For a change they were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, unlike the mushy offerings I have had from other establishments. The west coast flat top is crispy tortilla, covered in cheese, with large chunks of fresh roasted chicken, jalapenos, papaya which is grilled. It was something I am looking forward to having again. The " waitress " was a hoot with a dry but friendly sense of humour who bantered with us throughout the evening. I guess it depends on what type of dining experience you are looking for, but I must say it was totally different than anything I have experienced in Brantfod and I thoroughly enjoyed everything about it. Well done folks. I'm looking forward to our next visit.
Oh my!! I had the homemade soup, which was artichoke and chicken. It was, without a doubt the best soup I have ever tasted. I was so tempted to ask for another bowl. I had the "something spicy" dish as my entree. Again, incredible. My husband had the perch dinner which, he said, was better than Port Dover's. My son had the hamburger. It was huge and so delicious (it looked so good, I had to try it) with the sweet potato fries - I love them!! This place is a little piece of heaven to me.
This Bistro is truly amazing!!! In addition to the food being incredibly delicious, the decor is something out of this world. I and so will you just want to take everything home with you and some of the items you actually can buy. The very friendly server also told us about the new patio soon to be open!! Can't wait !! Warmington's Rocks !!
I LOVE this place. The restaurant decor is fantastic, the owner's are wonderful, friendly people, the portions are more than enough and the prices are good. I recommend this place to everyone I talk to. If I could eat there everyday, I would.
The atmoshpere is great. The owners are very friendly. The food is absolutely fresh and delicious. There are many healthy choices and wonderful side dishes. The Key Lime cheesecake is out of this world! Cannot wait to try supper. Truly a gem in downtown Brantford!!
