School divisions in Manitoba will formalize divisional policies to conform to this document by September 2011.Bright Futures FundIn 2011/12, the Manitoba government invested $4 million in the Bright Futures fund to support programs aimed at improving high school graduation rates and increasing access to post-secondary education for disadvantaged and low income students. The Bright Futures fund brings community-based organizations and schools together around a common goal: to address many of the key barriers to post-secondary education that are faced by under-represented students.
