Capulet Art Gallery is the primary representative for a number of emerging and established artists in Western Canada who specialize in abstract, contemporary and figurative art. It all started at a bus stop in 2006 when Kevan Seng (24) met Raymond Chow (65) at a bus stop in Richmond, BC. Kevan had asked Raymond for change for a $10 dollar bill. After that, the two exchanged business cards and that's when Kevan realized Raymond was a famous artist. A couple days later, Raymond invited Kevan to his gallery, the first one Kevan would ever visit. As Kevan entered the space, there was a staircase with art on both sides of the walls. The art took Kevan back to the 50's, 60's, 70's and 80's where drawings of buildings and cityscapes from those eras were present. Kevan was in such amazement that it took him 10 minutes to walk up a flight of 20 stairs. As he reached the top, he saw a room full of paintings. He was in awe.
