Victoria Day Tea and Tour

It is Victoria Day after all, so why not celebrate like a queen? Montgomery’s Inn has a special afternoon tea to mark the occasion, plus complimentary tours of the historic site. Tea is first come, first served.

Culinary Ontario Festival

Ontario Place will once again be a festival destination this summer, with the Culinary Ontario Festival taking over the grounds for the Victoria Day long weekend. The event, part of Canada 150, is all about celebrating our local diversity in the most delicious ways. Sample all kinds of food, plus check out chef’s demonstrations, live music and a drone show.

Artfest at the Distillery

Head to the Distillery District over the long weekend to check out the work of local artists, painters and sculptures. The festival also has live music to accompany your art viewing.

Toronto Festival of Beer: Spring Sessions

If you can’t make it out to the cottage, the next best thing is this cottage-inspired beer fest. The Spring Sessions features local brews, plus BBQ and live music played around the campfire. This event is 19+.

Brunch at the Old Mill

Electric Island

Every long weekend in the summer, music fans descend on Toronto Island for a massive concert. The Victoria Day show has music from DJs and EDM artists like Ben Klock, Joris Voorn Eats Everything and Leon Vynehall.

Admit it, you want to spend your summer weekends by the water. The Waterfront Artisan Market is the perfect reason to head down to the lake and check out shops, vendors and food - all artisanal, of course.

Lobster Clam Jam

Despite the name, this is a food event that even seafood haters can enjoy. Party on a boat, anyone? Sail away from all life’s troubles and let loose on the Victoria Day Boat Party. Food and drinks are available, including bottle service, and there will be hip hop, EDM, top 40 and dancehall music all night.
