Expensive gourmet food tastes good in a slightly above-average atmosphere. The wait staff are also slightly above-average but I wouldn't call them excellent as we had one with a bit of an attitude the last time we had lunch there. Not a bad view. The food is not consistant - we've been there for 3 lunches and each time someone at the table has been disappointed, including myself, although the last time we went there it was good. The welcoming committee as you enter are friendly, although each visit I've seen wait staff hanging around this area, joking with the greeter and that's not good. I don't suggest anyone sit near the patio doors (especially if you're a senior like us) as it can be cold and the wasps are inquisative. Read more

A good authentic place to go if you are in the mood for Indian food. Our server was perfectly attentive to our needs (didn't come around too much or too little). They have a combo dinner for two that includes an assortment of the dishes my wife and I enjoy the most (butter chicken, lamb dish, vegetable dish, tandoori chicken, naan and rice, and even Indian desserts). 40 bucks for both of us! I am a Kelowna local for 5 years now. Have tried many places looking for a good tasting meal. To date Montana’s is the best, great taste, super service and the staff very friendly. Had a rookie one night and she was nervous when pouring my beer, Noticed that it was going to foam up so I took the glass and pointed out a good pour. She was so relieved and thankful that my service was unreal. People help out a young gal now and then, they are trying to earn a living. Read more
