Yesterday, four of my friends and I celebrated my birthday at lunch time. All 5 of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals plus our waitress, who gave us excellent service, added to our enjoyment. She also brought me a tasty dessert with a lit candle in it. My friends all said they would be back.

I took my wife here for our anniversary on friday based on some recommendations and we had one of the best dinning nights out ever. Me and my girlfriend ordered off the prefix menu, we started with the portobello mushroom was rich in goat cheese and ricotta. My girlfriend ordered veal pizzaiola looked great she enjoyed it, I ordered spaghetti bolognese was rich in flavor and very filling with large portions. Mike the owner of Bella Notte has done a fabulous job on making such a quiant atmosphere. He has pictures on the walls of him and the generations before him and this is Italian history at its finest. I really enjoy supporting the local businesses in my neighbourhood and this one is very easy to become a regular at.
The food is amazing and is a great substitute for downtown Toronto dining. Bella Notte provides fresh food with unique flavors, it has a great wine selection, and always friendly service. You will need to expect however that on the weekends especially, it will be veryyyyy busy and the service may be slower than usual (standard for any restaurant really), so my advice to you is to purchase a great bottle of wine and enjoy the night with your loved ones. This establishment really gives you the time to enjoy your meal, wine and conversation which is not something done at your run of the mill franchises.
For a great dining experience and a taste of Italy, I highly recommend it!
