Its only $15.99 & gets you an entire meal w/ drink too. we always have left overs cuz like most we end up filling up on salad, soup and that yummy warm endless garlic bread! We usually get a side of parm to butter n dip the bread in yum! I often order the pasta with half spicy arabata sauce and half bolognese and add veggies to the dish. After the devastating closing of my favourite chinese take out restaurant, Oriental House, i've been in a constant search for its replacement. I think i've finally found it. I tried Eastern Restaurant for the first time tonight, and was extremely happy with what they offered. The service was very pleasant and warm. The older gentleman that took my order welcomed me with a smile and was very friendly. I ordered five dishes. Chicken with hot garlic sauce, spicy chicken, pork fried rice, sweet and sour pork and shanghai special house noodles. The whole order was done quickly and was hot and fresh. Every dish was unique and very tasty. The spicy dishes had just the perfect amount of spice. The flavours of the dishes were able to come through without being overwhelmed by spice. The pieces of meat that they use are all good sized cuts, and not the tiny freeze dried meat that some places use. All the dishes had really good, strong flavours. Nothing was bland or boring. When looking for chinese take out I look for not only quality, both in food and service, but also for something unique. Eastern Restaurant offers all this and more. I highly recommend this tiny but excellent restaurant if quality chinese food is what you are looking for. Read more
