I attended Montana's Cookhouse with my Brother and Girlfriend last week and expected good quality food and service. I expected it because Montanas Cookhouse i widely recognized and I have also attended it before and loved it. I suggest coming here for a dinner or lunch because you receive great food for a low cost. I ordered chicken penne which was 15$ and a coke for 3$, so for under 20$ I received an excellent meal and fast service. The environment is loud and upbeat giving you a fun experience. Read more

We just moved close to Rays, and stopped in for a couple of beers while a game was on. It has a laid back atmosphere, and the service is great! We've been here a number of times and we've always enjoyed our meals. It's standard mom and pop diner fare, and priced right. The service has always been friendly and efficient and they know alot of their regulars by name. On our last visit, the service was slow, but it was a Sunday and the place was packed. So, good. The food was delicious, though not gastro-pubby, but rather pub grub. It could use new carpeting throughout. The stand out for us was the service. Our server was helpful, knew the menu inside out, and when we asked for some changes to make one of the meals heart healthy they went out of their way to make it happen. We were seated in a quiet corner...easier for my Dad that he didn't have to climb up a step...but there was loud laughter coming from around the corner. Everyone seemed to be greeted by name at the door. Our server was a nice young girl, but everyone paid attention to us, helping to deliver the meal, checking on how we liked our meals. The Bean Bar is a really good low key restaurant in the Westdale neighbourhood. They provide an extensive menu with a wide variety to choose from at a reasonable price. The food is fantastic and comes in portions that are not overwhelming where you can't finish it - just perfect. I brought my parents here to see what it was like and it exceeded their expectations. I had the ham and maple cranberry wrap and it was terrific. Definitely hit the spot. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very relaxed and mellow which is nice to have conversation. It's a good place for lunch or an early supper. The staff is super friendly so the service is great. If you're ever in Westdale, it's definitely worth checking out. Read more

I have lived in Dundas, Ontario for most of my life and have visited the Collins Brewhouse many times. I use the term ‘visited’ as if I am visiting someone’s home for the simple reason, each and every member of the Collins Brewhouse staff welcomes visitors’ as if they are family. It is a quaint pub and restaurant that adds more charm to the town of Dundas. The service is just as incredible as the food they serve. The southwest chicken wrap and chicken wings are super, I would without a doubt recommend these two dishes. Also, I have attended staff parties in the basement of the Collins Brewhouse. The accommodations that they provide such as; pool tables, a personal served bar, a big screen television, and food served in a buffet self-serve format, provide customers with fun and entertaining memories. As you can see in my review for the Collins Brewhouse, I would most definitely recommend this restaurant to all age groups.
