The food is great here, and the people are even better.
I love Chinese food, and this place is consistently delivering great bang for your buck.
We usually get egg rolls, chicken balls, crispy beef (spicy), and beef with broccoli. Around 55 bucks and we feed two adults and 3 children with it and still have some great leftovers.
Its in my rotation of take out for sure.

This is definitely what is usually called a Ma & Pa family restaurant and is run by a very personable Chinese couple. They offer a menu of familiar chinese dishes along with a good 'Canadian' selection too. One of each type on the daily special. The atmosphere is warm and inviting and the service by Lily is excellent.
You can judge the popularity as at breakfast time, the parking lot is usually full of local contractors, lunch and dinner are less busy.

My husband and I have been a customer at the Oak on March Road since the first day they opened their doors. We have been patrons ever since, loved the staff for their friendly attitude, and the way they have cared over the years for their clients. Today this atmosphere has not changed and the staff, although younger are ever so caring and warm towards their customers. The food here is so delicious. The menu is huge! All the dishes taste really fresh and the "bubble tea" is amazing! I forget what I ordered exactly, but it was spicy cripsy chicken on top of noodles. It was excellent. They also have the deep-fried standards like chicken wings, rice, and chicken balls. Anyone remember the chicken balls at Cresent Gardens? These are the closest that I've tasted to that recipe.
I love the atmosphere! There's always karaoke music playing in the background, and the floors and tables are spotless. The little asian lady always has an interesting story to tell.
All in all, although a bit expensive this restaurant makes great food, has a nice atmosphere. I'll be back!

My family and I have ordered the food consistently since 1992. Even our late grandparents felt that it was the best, and we make incredible and fresh homemade meals the nights that we don't order here.

I've been going to Yangtze for years. It's definitely the best Chinese food you're going to have.
Their "midnight snack" menu is excellent, but I usually end up ordering dim sum a la carte due to how much I like it.

I come here in this buffet restaurant so many times with friends because we just love the food selection and their great taste. To me, this was one of the best Chinese buffet restaurant in Ottawa with a fair meal price. It’s just sad to see this place close its doors permanently. My friend and I fell upon this restaurant quite by accident. We were getting gas at the nearby gas station and decided to check out the restaurants in the little plaza beside it. Boy did we luck out!We went into this little unassuming restaurant and didn't know what to expect. The decor is somewhat drab and the bathrooms were terrible. This made me a little skeptical about the whole place but we were pleasantly surprised. So many menu choices to choose from with many dishes I have never even hear of. Everything was amazing!!!
