This classic setting overlooking the river and waterwheel complements the casual, fine dining perfectly. The patio has a great view and a casual menu. Inside the cozy fireplace is very romantic or you can get a very private dining room for business or family events. Food was excellent with good variety and local flavours. Definitely worth the short country drive for a complete night out experience. Not nearly as expensive as I thought.

My family loves to get together over breakfast and catch up on each others lives. Our #1 choice for the past 10 years is the Daily Grill. Wait staff are always friendly, and they remember us and even my nephews' orders (which rarely vary). The "Requisite" breakfast is an exceptionally good deal and always arrives quickly and hot! My Mum loves the Belgian waffles, my nephews rave about the pancakes, my Dad enjoys the steak and eggs. We do go for dinner sometimes. The chicken parm is a big serving of homey deliciousness that will leave the hungriest diner full. My husband, who loves a good burger and is picky about what exactly that constitutes, says the Grills' banquet burger is one of the best out there. Good hours. Lots of parking. But be prepared for a wait to be seated for breakfast on Sat and Sun. It's popular!

Angels family restaurant on Westmount and Victoria in Kitchener is amazing! The food is quality and the amount you get is outstanding. This place has the BEST Tzatziki sauce ever, it is SO good. I always get extra servings and put it on everything, because it tastes amazing with all the flavours.
My friend and I usually get the same thing and share. Their portions are reasonable sizes for the prices they offer. I love that they come with rice and salad :)
The server is also friendly and is always smiling eventhough he is conservative. Their interior reflects warm tones and even the patio is a good place to eat.
Try the stuffed eggplant, it is absolutely delicious! My absolute favourite :)
Hands down, the best middle eastern cuisine in KW!

I can't find the Waterloo location on this site but this review is about my experience there.
Went on a Wednesday with girlfriends for drinks and nibbles in the bar. The service was awesome and the food was pretty quick and very tasty. We shared spinach dip, antojitoes and nachoes and we were stuffed! We didn't know a band would be playing and it was an added bonus. We had a great time and have plans to make this our regular get- together hangout!

I had a wonderful server, she was polite, and knew how to add that little something to make my day. The best server is Hailey. She was prompt with bring out the food and drinks. With out being to prying she discovered that I was down about spending my birthday alone. She gathered her team mates and sang me happy birthday. Frank's bacon is the best bacon you'll ever have. The atmosphere is a big jovial family. The diner hasn't been updated in 50 years, so it's a major throw back, but it's clean and you can tell that the owners love the place.
The breakfast for $5.95 has three awesome eggs, awesome bacon, home fries and hot buttered toast. SO GOOD!!!
Lunch, try the awesome burger with bacon, cheese and the works for less than $7.

Had the Jacs sub for dinner last night. The Jalapeno cheese bread is Fantastic, there was lots of meat and tasted very fresh. Toppings and sauces were all free and they have a grill which I prefer over just toasting. Great staff and the new owner is very friendly. Will be back again to try the shack.
