Wow, this guy was amazing, I went to this clinic by accident literally. I had severe pain in my neck and shoulder and I saw the sign saying "pain relief" so I went there thinking "my pain is unbereable and Ive got nothing to lose at this point". I have been seeing a physiotherapist and chiro for the last couple years and the results were minimal. I also was taking tylenol 3 for my pain.i am not taking this medicine any more. I make my living by working as a renovator. I have arthritis, which is probably job-related, or due to aging. Recently I cannot work because of my swollen wrist. The bone above my right wrist was almost doubled in size. This caused me great pain, especially when I tried to turn my wrist. Last month I went to see a doctor, and was prescribed Indomethacin (50 mg capsules, 3 times per day, for 3 weeks). The medication did provide me some relief, but it had side effects (mainly stomach upset and nausea). Besides, most of the swollenness was still there. Last Monday I decided to seek acupuncture as an alternative treatment. I found the name Dr. Ivy Pang from Google Search. I have received 4 acupuncture treatments up till now (each session lasting about 80 minutes). So very glad that there are obvious great improvements – in fact I can now turn my wrist freely. i am a nurse who works in hospital full time. i definitely need rmt, a good one for long run and i recommend this clinic to everyone. i walked into this clinic cuz i live very nearby and I've been going at least once a week. the rmt's skills are outstanding. 2 years later i was under treatment for my gastroenteritis and i saw the herbalist in the same clinic as well (cuz i live closely). i received treatment and my stomach was treated after one month. i was on very heavy dose of antibiotics and it totally destroyed my normal flora. therefore i was following with the herbalist and have been following for one year. i do hot yoga at least 4 times a week it helps my body when i receive my massage. Can't say enough good things about A& T....Would highly recommend these TCM -(Traditional Chinese Medicine) Dr's for any kind of severe pain condition,especially if you have had no response from traditional physio and massage treatments for pain relief. I suffered from severe knee,leg and back pain unresponsive to other treatments. I also had significant mobility issues.I am now mobile and pain free after several months of treatments. I like that the treatments are cost effective and include the different therapies all for one price- ie:hot packs,electrical stimulation and the Chinese therapeutic massage( Quite different from any other massage I have had-Chinese massage was much more effective). The lady Dr at this clinic does acupuncture. I didn't need to try her as did great on the regular treatments, but I hear from other pts. she is excellent. These Dr's speak English fluently, as well as Mandarin. I also find them very accomodating for appts.
