Shalom Residences Inc. empowers adults with intellectual disabilities to live meaningful, dignified lives in community-based homes in Winnipeg, enriched by Jewish values.
We envision a community where individuals with intellectual disabilities are fully included, self-actualized, and valued in all aspects of life.

Shalom Residences Inc. was fortunate to have secured funding in two categories: ![]()
The Women’s Endowment Fund Grant and the Community Impact Grant.![]()

Both grants allowed us to upgrade the furniture in both our shift-staffed homes, as well as our SIL apartments. This furniture is new and more resilient, and included couches, love seats, recliners, dining tables, coffee tables, beds, and chairs. ![]()
