I go because my Grandson loves the pizza, however the staff I find not very friendly and for what I pay there not impressed. I was there yesterday and will not be back there are other places in the city that are just as good and better treatment.
Food is decent but the worst service ever. The waiter, Dragan, seemed like it was a chore for him to wait on us.
The restaurant definitely is overpriced except for pizza. We ordered meatballs, tasteless and rice balls, very dry. One salad one wine, one coffee $ 52.50. Very overpriced for bad food. Much better restaurants in the city. Will not return. Would not recommend.
Fabulous restaurant! We just got back from a double date there and it was hard to narrow down our food choices. Great food, atmosphere and service! Can't wait to go back again!
I heard this place has really good food despite their high prices, so a group of us decided to try it. Well we didn't even get past the door. When we arrived, the restaurant was empty but the staff refused to seat is since we did not have a reservation...? Kind of odd. I don't know of too many establishments that require reservations only. I guess they just don't need our business.
Wife and I were craving good pizza and that's just what we got. We both had a Verduca pizza nice glass of Cabernet Sauvignon and finished off with the best tiramisu we had ever eaten. Atmosphere was authentic and lively...and we are already looking forward to going back!
I went there for an Anniversary dinner. The food was great. I ordered a Fine Meatlover's personal Pizza, and it was great. I loved how it was made directly in front of me in a wooden fireplace oven. I also ordered a Ceasar salad with it as well. It could have used a little more salad dressing, but the lettuce leaves were crisp, and fresh. She ordered the Fettucini Alfredo, very well done as well. According to her it was a bit too salty, but I thought it tasted pretty good. Overall Experience pretty good, Server was nice, and attentive, and the Atmosphere was great as well, other then it being a little small. The desert was great thouhg, the Nutella Pizza tasted amazing, I've never tried it before and I was very impressed with the results. Great experience.
I've Never sent back meal in my life, I will eat anything, today I've never been more disappointed in my life at a restaurant. I was looking forward to there 'famous meatball'. It was the so dry and tasteless, as well as the meat sauce, I had to send it back! Instead I ordered the famous 'rice balls' the name explains itself. Two extremely large balls of rice, topped with dry meat sauce...gross..I felt bad enough sending the ie meal back, I just took te rice balls home, and threw them in the trash. Our waiter was extreemy rude, he said maybe ten words to us all night. The owner himself, saw me send back my meal and did NOTHING! No compensation, no apology, nothing! Extremely classless! My fiancee ordered the pepperoni pizza, it was soggy! We will never go to Vito's Again!
We were there last week. The food was great and the server was friendly and attentive. We love bringing our kids there. They never make us feel awkward for doing so.
I rated the service as below average because its hard to keep a reservation there. The waiters are very good. We've been there four times. The food is fantastic. The only problem is its packed at least Thurs and Fri nights from what I've seen. The first time, too busy, really long wait. Second time we ate upstairs which was awesome, the downstairs is loud, upstairs is like a jazz bar atmosphere. Third time we had a reservation but they couldn't find our name, they had a table anyways. Fourth time we had a reservation at 7:30, but there were people that were supposed to be seated at 7, that had to still wait a long time. We were told we would have to wait at least 45 min, so we left. I love the food tho. The food, and deserts are fantastic. I love the pizza, and salad. My husband had lamb chops the other day that were the best he's had. Just wish it was easier to get a table. Probably will try a different day to go next time. Just forget about Fridays all together.
This place is fantastic. Ceasar salad was delicious. The Seafood pasta was fantastic and had a nice heat to it that caught me a little off guard. The Gnocchi is was very rich and full of flavour. I have also in the past had their pizzas and they are probably one of the best if not the best pizzeria in Windsor. My favourite is their prusciutto Funghi pizza. The crust is so thin and the sauce is very good.
