This restaurant is one of Norfolk's best kept secrets, IMO. My husband and I came in on a very busy friday night for the excellent all-you-can-eat fish and chips dinner. Even though it was busy, our servers were very attentive and pleasant, and we got our food so fast! the fish was great and we were told the fries are all fresh cut which we loved! our server came back to our table frequently to make sure we had everything we needed. Impressed by the speed and the service even on a busy night, we will definitely return and recommend Grams to others!
Ordered poutine and a chicken caesar wrap (to go)... seriously you need to WASH the potatoes before you make them into fries!!!
Eating a side of dirt with poutine is disgusting!
I also had way, way, way to may outside edges of potatoes, for my liking some is ok but not every fry should be.
The wrap was not folded in a manner for eating just rolled up with it open at both ends. I had to rebuild it so that I could actually eat it. The romaine had so many cores it was very bitter. Next to nothing in chicken as well.
I ended up throwing the whole thing in the garbage. If I had the nerve I would have called and told you how bad it was! I won't be back anytime soon! You need to really update the way you do things...
Great service. She allowed me to have dinner at breakfast, without giving me a hard time. Food was delicious, portion size was sufficient. Will be back!
