Been to Dons a few times and never disappointed. My teenage kids love the pizza, as we sometimes order takeout. When eating in I love the house wine, filled right to the rim!!...Better than the big chains for sure....ps bring cash, no debit..
If you havent tried Don's Pizza your in for a treat. Although the atmosphere of the restaurant might make you think twice about ordering, the pizza is excellent and so are the wings! Try the hot wings with extra hot sauce!
The .25 cent pac man is also worth a try if your waiting for your food. The restaurant takes you back in time which makes it stand out alone, but the pizza is fantastic! If you looking for a non-greasy pizza that is homemade Don's is the place!
My sister first introduced me to Don's Pizza in the late 70's, early 80's and I haven't looked back. I've pretty much tried eveything on the menu and it's all a can't miss. Every time someone from out of town visits, it is a must that we get a Don's pizza and everyone agrees it's the best they have ever had. (P.S - if you go to the restaurant be sure to try the table top Ms. Pac-Man).

Best pizza on earth. No doubt about it. Amazing crust & sauce. Very generous on toppings & size of pizzas. Owner works alone most of the time but does a great job. If you haven't tried it you have to, you'll never go back to the pizza chains again.
We order from Don's regularly, but we do take out. The owner is great, makes fantastic pizza. The crust is uniquely great, I like the sauce too, and I think he puts oregano on it as well, to add a really great flavour overall.
I suspect that if I had to pick, I would say that Don's is the best pizza in the city. It's not always what I'm in the mood for, but man, it's amazing.
Here is the facts. GREAT PIZZA. understaffed. waiting a while for pizza is not unusual but sometimes this place can take ages. This is actually the best pizza i've ever tasted and i've been trying out many places but i've stayed a regular here for a while now
I've picked up pizza from there twice. It is excellent!
Unfortunately, once I showed up to pick up without ordering ahead. I waited about an hour! Call ahead!
Also, tell them that you prefer not having the crust overcooked.
Slow service due to only the owner working by himself. A little better housekeeping may be in order. However, this is THE BEST PIZZA IN THE NORTH. Absolutely a wonderful crust. A must try if you love PIZZA. This is by far the best tasting and textured pizza in Sudbury.
