Rock Solid Parts was opened in 2006 by Richard Lapointe. After working in the heavy duty equipment industry at the wholesale, retail and manufacturing levels, Rick opened Rock Solid Parts. Rick saw an opportunity to service the mining, construction and forestry sectors with aftermarket parts in the Timmins area.

The business has continued to grow and expand. In 2013, Rock Solid Parts moved into it’s current location in Schumacher and another renovation and expansion was completed in early 2017. Rock Solid Parts has also continued to add more product offerings including equipment for snow and ice removal; lawn care and landscaping; solar equipment solutions and backup generators. Rock Solid Parts has also added a service department to repair the equipment they sell. Rick Lapointe and his staff also believe in supporting the community they live in by giving back.
