This place is now closed. Enough said. It was overpriced and under quailtied. A legend in the owner's mind, but unsustainable in reality. Not a good value for the money. At their prices, you expected a heck of a lot more.
Overall: Meals were entirely excellent and the experience was most enjoyable. This is an upscale restaurant but maybe slightly pricey compared to similar restaurants.
Appetizer: Calamari with anchovy tomato sauce and cashews - unusual presentation with 3 large delicious pieces of calamari
Main: 16 oz pepper-crusted veal chop - perfectly done and seasoned, and much tastier meat than I expected. Hot and tasty vegs. Very nice presentation.
Main: Jumbo Sea Scallops - perfectly done, hot and tasty. Again a very nice presentation.
Desserts: Apple Strudel and Chocolate Pate - both much better than average.
Service: Warm, friendly, intelligent and impeccable.
Atmosphere: better than the average restaurant but a little sparse with lights a little bright.
