Very bad service after the sale, glass are not what I was told they would be and that’s ok as I called them to see how they would help, first man said I’ll call u back in five minutes and after a week I called back, today the girl said they could help but only after 7 pm? What ? I don’t want to stay down town for three hours. So I asked for next week even and she said 7 pm or later. So yes this upset me and I made it very clear that they sold me glasses for 1000 at 330 pm. She said we don’t boo

In the past I've tried to ignore their horrible customer service but I'm done giving them the benefit of the doubt. The non sales rep lady was rude and immediately hostile with me and did not communicate well. This locations contact lenses just increased by a 25 percent margin overnight and I was told they would be in yesterday. Empty promise and not treated well at all.

    Stay away from this store

In December 2013, I bought a pair of glasses from Laurier Optical from Rideau Centre. The frames were on-sale with yellow tag which is about 30% of the frames in store. It cost me over about 100$ for the frames and the basic reading lenses with no extra treatment. During the next 2 months I used the glasses sporadically and I noticed that one of the joints became softer and softer until I could bend it with my finger. I was very disappointed with the craftsmanship of these glasses. I went to the store and I was approached by a young employee to whom I explained the situation. He suggested that I might have been punched in the face. That was quite astonishing and left me speechless. His body language was in tone with his words. He also picked a frame from display and crushed quite violently in his hands to show me what he meant. I pity the customer that will end up by buying that frame. He also pointed out that there was no warranty on the frames. I explained that that must have been a manufacturing defect. Anyway, after some discussions he accepted to replace the frame. But I had to wait… After a week he told me that since this would have been a new frame I would have had to pay again for the lenses. I told him that this does not sound fair and he started to raise his voice saying: Listen - I have no obligation to do anything. I asked to talk to his manager and she started shouting that he is the manager and when I told him that everybody has a manager he told me to Google the number after which he shouted: don't come to MY store and hang up. It it's true that this person is a manager that would speak volumes about the attitude towards customers. I did call the head office and I'm waiting for a call back.
