Borovay Psychological Services provides psychological services to children, adolescents, adults, and families. We offer services to different client populations that include individuals with Learning Disabilities, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Asperger's Syndrome, Behavior Disorders, Adjustment Disorders, Anxiety, Depression, Parent-Child Relationship Issues, and Interpersonal Problems.
We view many childhood disorders and difficulties as ones benefiting from a systemic view, where we not only work individually with the child, but also incorporate involvement with the parents and even the family (when appropriate). Our goal is to understand the system that maintains the behaviour with an overall focus on the attachments and bonds between parent and child. Dr Rose was amazing at helping me see the forest from the trees, AND equipping me with simple-to-apply approaches to deal with stress, anxiety, depression. Have added to my tool box! He is personable, a great listener, and able to provide real examples of ways others might deal with the same issues. But he is transitioning to retirement, so may not accept new clients - conceivably his colleagues in the same office are equally skilled.
