Bistro in the ByWard Market in which a perfect marriage between fantastic food and exceptional beer exists. In between our lunch and dinner services, we are opened for drinks, cheese and charcuterie. Come join us!
If you’re looking for an incredible beer with your meal, this is the place to go. The interior is fun and modern, with vintage-looking mirrors, exposed brick and wood finishings. If you’re coming with a large group, there are seven meat charcuterie and six cheese choices to try. You can enjoy them along with fig jam, beer nuts, spicy tomato jam and other stunning condiments. They’re also priced individually so that you can mix and match, depending on what you’d like to taste.
There are six gluten-free choices on the beer menu at this quietly upscale ByWard Market spot. Also find seven stouts, 13 Trappist ales and Canadian craft beers by Sawdust City and Dieu du Ciel, widely considered Montreal’s best brewpub. The 16 taps – many of which are locals such as Ashton and Dominion City — change frequently, so you’ll always find a surprise. Knowledgeable staff will walk you through the menu, and flights are available. In the kitchen, chef Darren Flowers prepares in-house-cured duck, guanicale and terrines, perfectly seared halibut and a vegetarian take on spaghetti and meatballs.
