Professional AND Delicious!!

I ordered lunch for 30 of my colleagues (May 2017) and I just wanted to say how pleased and impressed I was with your organization every step of the way. They accommodated the changes I wanted made to my order, they called me to let me know that the order was on its way, the delivery person was friendly and helped me set the food up and finally the food (which there was plenty of) was delicious and hot when it came time to eat. I wouldn't hesitate to place another order with Bombay To Go!

A pleasant surprise!

I ordered food from Bombay to Go with some trepidation. I am East Indian, and have found it difficult to find good Indian restaurants in my area (south east Mississauga). Also, most Indian restaurants do not offer delivery as a service, so the fact that they did (although quite pricey at $3.99) was also a plus since I didn't have my car available at the time. I was told that my food would arrive in 45 minutes however it arrived in 30 minutes - another plus, especially on a Saturday night. The food was very tasty, flavorful, hot and fresh. Definitely cooked Bombay-style, great flavors! They also cook to specification as far as spice-level - mild, medium and hot, which was great as we could order mild food for our kids, but spicy food for us. To summarize, the pluses for us were the Delivery option, the fact that the food was hot and fresh, and finally the taste. The negatives for us were the Delivery charge ($4 is a bit much considering they are 10 minutes from us), the prices of the dishes ($1.90 per naan, average dish price was $10) especially since the portion sizes were a little small. Overall quite good, next time we will pick up to avoid the delivery charge. Also, I can't comment on the ambiance/look/cleanliness of the restaurant since we ordered via delivery. Definitely recommended if you are looking for authentic and tasty Indian food.

lip-smacking freshly made indian food

I visit this place atleast thrice a week and I love the food! the chap behind the counter claims it is all made fresh! and it really felt that way! it not heavy, not greasy or too oily. the lamb kebabs, the karahi lamb and the tandoori butter chicken are simply out of this world. the karahi lamb reminded me of how my mom used to make it, like a burst of flavor in your mouth. Authentic Indian spices. The best bit is that they 'custom make' the dish for you - how hot or mild you want it, or if you dont want cream in your curry or peanuts or onions, you just need to tell them. And the people are really friendly. I like how they've put up photographs of bollywood stars across their wall- good ambiance.

Everything is Made Fresh!

(Or so said the friendly Indian chap behind the counter. ;) I've been looking for a takeout place for Chicken Biryani and I decided to stop by here as it's in my neighbourhood. I went inside and was this-close to not ordering as it's not cheap for a takeout place in this specific plaza. The Chicken Biryani was $8.99 for a relatively small plastic container. Probably 4 small portions. HOWEVER, the talkative owner (??) convinced me with his words, saying how everything is made fresh, and how if I like Chicken Biryani that "I'll be back", blah, blah, blah, but you know what? It WORKED. I think that if restauranteurs want more business, they need to be more go-getters in today's economy! The Art of Persuasion...and hopefully you have the goods to back it up and this guy did. The Chicken Biryani had generous pieces of chicken, at least 9. Probably more so than rice, but it was good. Tasted a lot lighter than other places, not very saucy though, but I didn't feel guilty eating it afterwards. So I'll probably be back to check out the rest of the menu!
