Awesome? Incredible?

Yes,the food was awesome - awesomely poor, and the value was incredible - incredibly costly, given the quality of the food. It represented, to me, the worst of North American 'Chinese' food. It was being done in the 40s and 50s in large cities, albeit executed with more care and taste. Happy In should purchase a few good Chinese cookbooks and READ them.
