Thank you for visiting the Taykwa Tagamou Nation (TTN) website.The Taykwa Tagamou Nation is a Cree nation whose traditional lands are in what is now northeastern Ontario. Our community has lived on the land and resources in the Moose River basin, along the Little Abitibi and Abitibi Rivers.Our community practiced a way of life that relied on the land for thousands and years, and still today many members keep alive the traditions and practices of our ancestors.The modern Taykwa Tagamou Nation continues traditional practices while also working in the modern Ontario economy, including forestry, waterpower, and mining services.The Taykwa Tagamou Nation is pursuing major projects within its traditional territory, and actively seeks partnerships and new projects.Additional information more...
