The portions are a good size, the Greek salad is very good and you have a great variety of food.
The service was good but the decor of the restaurant needs updating. The rug and chair seats have to be replaced by a nice bright colours. The walls also need a light coat of paint.
Today for the first in a long time I ventured into the Olympia Restaurant for breakfast with my teenage boy.
I must say I am amazed. The menu is descriptive and we were served exactly what we had ordered. Portion size was more than usually found in most restaurants and it was served at the table very quickly.
Service was great.
Our waitress returned a few times to ensure that we were not in need of anything.
The place is clean and the clientele are very nice.
Two large breakfasts and coffee, well under twenty dollars.
I'll be back here again.
I have been living in the area almost all my life and i never tried Olympia until a few years ago and now i'm hooked! There food is amazing and i talked to the owner (who by the way is very nice and will talk to anyone) and almost everything there is made from scratch. The roasted potatoes are to die for! All the greek food is, and even the hamburgers and french fries are amazing and they have the best (made from scratch) gravy i have ever tasted!! I don't know what all these bad comments are about.. everytime i have ever been in there which is about 3 times a week i have never seen any so called "drunks" in there, and there is always something being cleaned. For the restaurant being as old as it is it is in amazing condition!! There are so many regulars i see in there all the time and new people that i over hear telling the staff they will for sure be back. I don't know why anyone would have anything bad to say about this restaurant, the food is amazing, the staff is very very polite, (and may i say good looking), and it is always clean!
I have eaten at this establishment several times and have never had a bad meal or service! Yes the decor is dated but I didn't go their to shop I went their to eat and that's exactually what they provided!
I've been going to the Olympia for years. It's not going to be the place you want to impress people with for a really nice dinner. It's just a family restaurant and it does a good job of that. The food is great. The service is great.
For the price range, it's the best thing going. They have great specials. The only thing I don't recommend is the corned beef on rye. They don't shave their corn beef, so it's quite a shock to get it.

The bathrooms definitely could use updating. Personally, I've never looked in the kitchen. I'm too buy eating and enjoying the great food. You can get inexpensive beer and good quality food here. The waitresses are always friendly.
It seems the negative reviewers have an axe to grind with this restaurant. It's a restaurant that has a bar. You will often find this restaurant packed, especially on Sunday after church. That should tell you what kind of restaurant it is.
The food is excellent! Our family visits often. I don't know why the 2 negative comments. We wouldn't go if the negative comments were true. The place does need an update. But why does it matter if the food is excellent!
We always have the Chicken Souvlaki in a Pita Plate, they also have the best Fries and Gravy!! All the Greek Dishes are excellent. Breakfast is great also.
And no, i don't work there to be posting positive comments. The place has been there for years... it is obviously good! The prices are great too!
I really hope that it is quite obvious that all of the reviews on this page are written by owners or staff...because there is NO WAY anyone would give this place that high of reviews.
First of all...it is a hangout for the local drunks, who can be seen hanging outside on the "patio" all hours of the day/night leering at little girls as they walk by.
The food is greasy and nothing at all special.
The location is junky and run down. Completely straight out of a 90's horror film where the unfortunate victims stop to eat and their car breaks down.
If you want to eat something delicious, there are plenty other places in the area.
