Mount Washington Alpine Resort is a privately owned resort community, open year round, located near the very popular Comox Valley. First opened in 1979, Mount Washington is now in its 30th year of operation. Starting as two double chairlifts and a rough road, Mount Washington has seen incredible growth in its short history. Mount Washington is a great little ski hill, that gets a TON of snow on an annual basis. Fun family hill with lots of weekend events. If you get it on a powder day the Boomerang chair will give you endless fresh lines.
Definitely a must to check out on your west coast ski tour. Great local crowd.
