I have used Vancouver glass several times in the past and was always quite happy with the service. Unfortunately though my recent interaction with their head of operations David was less than satisfactory. I was given an estimate over the phone and was told once they did their site measuring the price may change slightly. I approved the estimate and went ahead with the site measure. When the price finally came back it was 50% higher than was estimated originally. When I asked about why there was such adifference David explained that it was purely because we changed the type of glass. I have dealt with enough glass orders that I know the price did not change that much striclty on the change in the glass and when I called David on this he proceeded to say to me "Take or leave it, get a quote from somewhere else." Now I'm not saying that companies should lose money or work for free. But admitting that there was a mistake in the original estimate and apologizing for the discrepancy would have been nice. I will never use Vancouver Glass again purely because of the attitude I got from David.
