Functional Movement Systems (FMS) Certified Provider,
Andrea Lawson’s personal mission is to “build Balance in Motion (BIM) clients from the ground up." Her busy multi-service studio offers personal training, athletic conditioning, small group training as well as active and athletic rehabilitation programs using kinesiology and corrective movement to achieve results.
Andrea explains, “I wanted a place where people could come to change their lives.” Much of her career has revolved around helping people recover from an injury. When she opened Balance in Motion in 2010 her primary goal was to help people get back to living their lives.
Word of mouth and referrals from doctors, massage therapists, chiropractors and physiotherapists are largely responsible for building the studio’s client basis.
“When I opened the studio we began to attract a variety of different clients; athletes wanting to improve performance, people wanting to learn how to exercise and not injure themselves, some wanting to lose weight, in addition to injury rehabilitation. What I noticed is that we all want the same thing – to go beyond better.”
