Sold our booked room to someone else!

In 20+ years of traveling I never expirienced such ignorance from the receptionist. Not only they sold our booked room to someone else, without even notifing us. They elso was increadibly rude and inconsiderate when we arived. On my question "What we supposed to do?" Receptionist said that she "Don't care, office, and that we should come back in the morning" Not even regular Canadian, "we are sorry". Just "no rooms, come back tommorow". Not even suggestion about where else we can try to go.
