This distance learning school has one of the most unhelpful and money hungry professer in charge of this organization. John Collins the professer that marks all the assignments (at least in my experience) likes to take forever for feedback and is terrible at communicating to his students. He can take more than a month to respond. But really as a student how can you complain? The guidelines for his assignments are not clear so he pretty much makes decisions on his whim and clouds his judgement with his emotions. Actually no on his bank account. Even though there are no guidelines on due dates and he takes forever to return his feedback John Collins charges fees on top of fees for course extensions. Blaming you saying you took to long for the course. His way of marking papers is unprofessional where he leaves comments that do not guide you for success and mocks your writing. No this review is not because I did poorly in his course but John Collins is a horrible teacher. I would not suggest anyone to waste their money on his organization. You can learn better from someone else and another school. John Collins has no perception on how nursing actually is in an acute care setting because it's been so long since he's had bed side experience. He's unrealistic, judgemental and condescending. His company is not even listed as a reputable or suggested school on CARNA. Don't waste your time or money.
