Colleen was called to the Bar in 2008 after graduating from the University of British Columbia. Throughout law school she volunteered with UBC's Law Students' Legal Advice Program, and during her first year, received an award fo outstanding contribution. Colleen strongly promotes alter.ve methods of dispute resolution and in 2005, used he negotiation skills to place 2nd in the American Bar Association's annual Law Student Division Negotiation Competition Colleen was employed in 2005 as the coordinator of UBCs Student Advocacy Office, where she represented studen - before both the University Senate and the President's Advisory Committee.
