A bartender galore, Steven's thirst for knowledge and love of food and wine have led him to evolve into a budding restaurant guru. Marina has been trying for years to get out of the industry, but finds herself happily sucked back time and time again.
We have came to this restaurant for many years and always had a wonderful experience. Except last night!
It was the worst ever and treated very rude!
We had the specials and both of us got sick. We complained about the meals when we were there and couldn't even eat them. I send mine back and my husband calamari was so smelly and sent it back.
They still charged us. They seemed offend that we complained. It's sad because we really had loved going there but not now!
Whenever I'm in Edmonton, I make a point of reserving at Il Forno. Their online menus and specials make it easy to decide in advance. There's always a smile waiting for us at this cozy family-run business. Always a pleasure. We'll be back again and again.
This restaurant is right on the cusp of the west end, and offers excellent Italian food for lunch. The dishes are classic and delicious, ranging from lighter salad options or soup to heavier pasta plates. A linguini alfredo would be the ideal match with a salad filled with spinach, almonds and red onions.
